Since I started playing golf at the age of four, I have dreamt of becoming the number one player in the LPGA tour.
When I was a little kid my parents taught me that if I really liked something I had to be passionate about it and never forget to enjoy it. Golf has been a quintessential part of my life; it was what kept me up and going when my father passed seven years ago.
In 2013, I became a University of Miami Student-Athlete. College golf was a great stepping stone from junior golf to professional golf and my game really improved over my college years.
Although people see me as a talented athlete; I prefer to see myself as an honest, persistent and hard working person.
I am twenty-two years old now and the dream has not changed. Every day I am getting closer to becoming the first Ecuadorian to have a full LPGA card, to have a long stable professional career; and, hopefully, some day become the best women golf player in the world.
